we went out for dinner and at the place we ate they have garage doors which they open up in the summertime (dave you might recognize this place...aka $1 burger night before your wedding). anyway a duck walked up to the windows while we were there! the waitress told us his name is wally and that they feed him crackers every day. i will call this picture: "so a duck walks into a bar" (i'm so clever)
i took a bunch of other pictures of the river/bridge/city but most of them are blurry. i'm sad b/c they would have been cool shots otherwise. i need to learn how to take decent pictures.

night:
one of the coolest moments of the weekend was when i heard piano music coming from the lobby. i wandered down and just as i suspected, it was john ham from allegheny at the piano. last year zach was there with his guitar and we had a spontaneous praise and worship thing late at night. so i walked over to john and was reminicsing about last year and he said "just wait". sure enough about two minutes later a guy with a drum showed up. within 20 minutes 2 guitar players, someone with a harmonica, another drummer, several more piansts, a couple of ppl who seemed like they lead worship a lot, and the makings of a choir had shown up. i was exhausted so i sat on the couch and praised with my eyes closed most of the time. it was high energy, people clapping and praising. i bet at least 100 people if not more were there. it was a-maz-ing. i miss sooo much having a group of people to worship with. sure i worship at church but it is not the same. in the midst of the energy and despite my exhaustion i felt rest. i stayed as long as i could manage and then stumbled up to my room and crashed into bed without even brushing my teeth. it was awesome to see so many people from all over the place gathered together praising God.
