boredom.

i called the landlord today, it's like we're old friends. yes it's true folks, water spots on the ceiling tile AGAIN. and again, it's not much, no major flood but the fact that it keeps happening concerns me. so i call up my good friend the landlord and tell him. basically the problem stems from the upstairs neighbors repeatedly showering with the shower curtain OUTSIDE the tub. when asked to be more careful they have replied "just bill me for the damage". no jerkfaces!!! learn how to be responsible and rational living breathing human beings and take a shower like the rest of us! how old ARE you? even kids know better than that. i just don't get it.

dear verizon,

please don't send me text messagse offering me text messaging bundles.
a. i don't use text messaging enough to warrant such an offer.
b. i'm bored and lonely and your pointless text message got my hopes up that someone i know was trying to contact me.

love,
me

as you can see i've got nothing better to do than complain about stuff. i'm like the crazy old lady who loves controversy just so she can something to do. i need a job. soon. interview @ the zoo on saturday. cross your fingers for good luck.

i actually worked 17 hours at the store this week! hallelujah. however i found out tuesday that i have a mandatory meeting sunday at 10am. ha! i laugh in your faces. sorry suckas, mollie asked me the day before you informed me of this meeting to join her at the Jubilee conference and help take care of Sam. i told my boss politely that i was unable to come to the meeting because i would be babysitting. she replied "uhhhhh, how old is the kid?". i answered, "three weeks, and no, i'm not brining him to the meeting". she was like "hmmm. ooo-kkkkk. well maybe we'll have to do a conference call. you can call in from wherever you are and listen in on the meeting". so i told her, "well here's the thing, i won't be out of town but i will be at a conference all weekend, babysitting". and she was like "oh. well try and get out of babysitting if you can. let me know." oy vey. am i being too whine-y here in thinking that sorry kids if you don't tell me i have a mandatory meeting far enough in advance i just might have a life and have other plans? maybe i should just duck out of the conference early and go to the stupid meeting. but really i went to the meeting last year and learned nothing new. and if mollie is paying for me to go to the conference, i don't really want to skip out on a whole day of it.
