um. grrr! i washed my coat last night at emily and david's and the butter did not come out! i'm going to have to try something else. hmmm now i'm posting about laundry/stain removal. this post was doomed from the start.
our living room is back together again! he finished the ceiling and painted it yesterday and all of the furniture/decorations are back up. well except the pictures...i should work on that today. i was fine last night when i got home around 9:30 but i've gone rapidly downhill since then. i think it's the paint fumes. i'm insisting that i'm having a reaction to the fumes. i don't want to believe that i've acquired a cold. although hot tea/allergy pills/vitamin C/and some airborne has alleviated most of my symptoms.
lessons learned today: don't post if you have nothing to say. heh.
i know! i'll redeem this post by adding pictures of things i've crocheted in the past week. yea that probably won't help. oh well.
i started this blanket last wednesday and finished it saturday. it is for Samuel Clay who was born two weeks ago. now i need to visit the kid. must plan a trip to see them. this is what happens when you buy yarn that is supposed to make stripes but then you work it in a diagonal pattern that starts from the corner of the blanket instead of the edge. kinda weird/kinda cool.
i liked it so much that i bought more yarn and started another for Samuel's future neighbor who is due in April. Stripes this time.

when i lived in alabama, my older brother was friends with fraternal twins named samuel and clay.
sam's initials spelled SAM. i always thought that was pretty sweet.
i was out your way the other day for a job interview. if all goes well, i may be popping by very often. :)
