too much free time/cereal invasion

have you ever heard of the book Caps For Sale? i read that book one too many times during my daycare/preschool aide days.























these hats were part of a winter clothing drive @ evil roommate #2's cousin's school. a bunch of crafters knitted/crocheted their little hearts out to help collect warm winter stuff for those in need and the school decided to REJECT THEIR EFFORTS. they don't want "hand made items". well phooey on you ************/****** ****** school system! some of the hats are not exactly the picture of fashion or symetry, but that doesn't mean they had to reject them altogether. i'm a little miffed on behalf of all of the people out there who worked long and hard on them. we're going to see if we can donate them to some of the families @ evil roommate #1's school.


on a second note: GORILLA MUNCH IS THE BANE OF MY EXISTANCE
ok not really. that might have been a little dramatic. but seriously evil roommate #2 bought some Organic Gorilla Munch a month or so ago. she was eating it in the dining room when the ENTIRE BOX was flipped over spilling its' contents far and wide. she cleaned it up right away but somehow some free-range gorilla munch seems to be proliferating our house. i keep finding it in my room. mind you i've vaccumed the floor at least 3 or 4 times since then in an effort to rid myself of the crunchy little vandals but i KEEP FINDING THEM. the dining room has been cleaned numerous times and yet somehow they just keep sneaking back in. and i kid you not, one day evil roommate #1 found some IN HER CAR. she has NEVER eaten gorilla munch in her car. quite frankely i'm a little creeped out by that. we've been gorilla munch free for a few weeks now, let's hope it stays that way.






















and for those of you who are wondering, i solemly pledge to mail out a minimum of THREE resumes/cover letters TODAY. i promise.
