christmas with the crazies

my family is way too amusing. put all seven of us in one room and it gets loud and usually at least one of my parents laughs until they cry. and it doesn't help any when they have children who get them things like a lunch lady action figure (i'm working on uploading the video of that!) or "the super dooper reindeer pooper" (it really poops out jelly beans!)

















continuing with my brother's trend of amusing gifts here he gave my brother and sister in law something that resembled a space ship:

















the story is that their cat apparently has a liking for spoons. he's been stealing spoons at their house for awhile. you would think the spoons would eventually turn up again, but they haven't. my brother and sister-in-law have concluded that clearly the cat must be making a spaceship. so what does the younger brother do? he buys them spoons, wraps them up to look like a spaceship and rights "greetings earthlings" on the outside of the package with a picture of a cat.

















i have NO idea why my brother decided to make this face but it is by far the best picture ever. oh it WILL come back to haunt him, and not just on the internet either.






















ok so this doesn't follow the funny theme, it's just cute. this is my future sister-in-law with Mater from the disney movie cars.

Step One: determine that the self-timer option does in fact function on camera and subsequently catch family members dancing like dorks
















Step Two: try not to lose patience while mom aka "the program director" directs us where to stand etc. whilst siblings poke each other and grab butts
